At Hackholmssund, you’ll have the entire estate to yourselves – surrounded by nature, gardens, dining halls and the lakefront pier. The atmosphere is intimate and secluded, allowing you to fully focus on each other.
You can choose from several beautiful ceremony spots: on the pier by the water, in the charming garden pavilion surrounded by lush greenery, or on the terrace of the Manor House with its stunning view and plenty of space for your guests.
We don’t offer set decorations or officiants, but you’re free to arrange these according to your wishes. We’re happy to assist with planning and practical details. There are also several lovely churches nearby for those who prefer a church wedding.nt as personal and memorable as you envision.

Culinary experience for your wedding
Food is at the heart of every wedding at Hackholmssund. Our kitchen is inspired by Nordic gastronomy, using ingredients from our gardens, nearby forests and lakes.
We don’t have fixed menus – instead, we tailor each dining experience based on the type of wedding, number of guests and the season. A wedding dinner usually includes three to four courses, and of course, we offer tasting sessions in advance.
You’re welcome to arrange your own wedding cake to add a personal touch, and if you wish, we can also provide a late-night snack to round off the celebration.

Comfortable rooms await both the couple and their guests, surrounded by nature and the calm that defines the place. Staying overnight allows you to extend the celebration and share more moments together – from the evening before to breakfast the next morning.

Activities for the couple & guests
A wedding at Hackholmssund can be much more than just a celebration. Many couples choose to arrive by boat – the journey from Stockholm takes about 1.5 hours, and we’re happy to help you arrange transport.
During your stay, there’s plenty of space both indoors and outdoors. We can organise a relaxed barbecue by the pier, live entertainment, or other activities to make your weekend unforgettable.
You can also combine your wedding festivities with a visit to our spa and relaxation area, a boat trip on Lake Mälaren, or a refreshing sauna by the water. For those who wish to extend the celebration, we also offer golf, nature experiences and other activities that make your wedding weekend truly special.
