We think about sustainably – All year round
At Hackholmssund, we work in harmony with nature. We grow our own produce, make jams and preserves, dry and store ingredients to use throughout the winter. We produce our own honey, dry chili from the garden, and avoid imported produce that’s out of season. For us, sustainability isn’t a temporary initiative — it’s a natural part of everyday life.

Sustainability is also about what happens behind the scenes. Our facilities are energy-efficient, we use renewable electricity, and we continuously work to reduce waste and avoid single-use items. We collaborate with local suppliers and encourage our guests to choose environmentally friendly transport options. Everything we do aims to make our meetings as sustainable as possible — today and in the future. We know that every small effort matters, which is why we keep evolving, setting higher standards, and thinking long-term together with our guests and partners.
